Visa Information
Guide of Visa
Language training : D-4-1
The language training visa is issued for the first six months and needs to extend the stay period after six months. The extension of the stay period is required for the application of extension of the stay period, the receipt of tuition, the receipt of the registration, transcript, the registration of the housing lease contract, and a certificate of balance that has been calculated and a fee depending on the extended application period. The extended period will be after 14 days from the end of the academic year.
Studying abroad : D-2
The issuance visa of studying abroad is issued and extended for a period of one year, and the term will be by the end of March and the end of June. When you extend the stay period, the application of extension for stay period, a receipt of tuition payment, a certificate of enrollment, a certificate of registration, a transcript, contract for real estate (residence confirmation), a certificate of residence, an extension of the housing lease contract, a bank statement in student’s name which is computed according to the extension of the application period and a fee are required.
Alien registration
When you enter Korea first, you should visit Immigration Office and register as aliens. Applications, passports, photos, tuberculosis checks, and fees are required for registering foreigners.
Part-time job
Students seeking part-time must obtain permission from the immigration office. Students who study abroad can do part-time jobs after six months after entry and there are no additional restrictions on undergraduate students. The allowed time is 20 hours per week for undergraduate and language study abroad. And it is for 30 hours per week for the graduate university. There is no limit during weekends, holidays, and vacations.

Report of the change of the temporary place of residence
If the address is changed, you must report the change of the temporary place of residence to the immigration office. (Available in Iksan City Hall and the Internet)
