한국어 초록

목적: 3학년 간호학생의 핵심기본간호술기 멘토링 지도 경험의 의미를 파악하기 위함이다. 방법: 질적연구방법인 Strauss와 Corbin(1998)의 근거이론 방법을 통해 3학년 선배 멘토의 핵심기본간호술기 멘토링 지도 경험의 본질을 탐색하고자 한다. 결과: 3학년 간호학생의 핵심기본간호술기 멘토링 지도 경험의 의미를 분석한 결과 중심현상은‘힘이 되고 싶음’으로, 이러한 현상이 발생하도록 이끄는 인과적 조건은‘지원함’으로 나타났다. 맥락적 조건과 작용/상호작용 전략에 영향을 미치는 중재적 조건은‘자신감을 북돋음’,‘든든한 울타리’로 이를 위한 작용/상호작용 전략과정은‘내 몫을 해냄’,‘관계 맺기’로 나타났다. 중심현상에 영향을 미치는 맥락적 조건은‘심적 부담’,‘걱정거리’이었으며, 참여자들의 이러한 맥락적 조건은 후배들과 교수님들에게 ‘힘이 되고 싶음’이라는 중심현상으로 나타났다. 그 결과는 ‘남아있는 아쉬움’, ‘스스로 성장함’, ‘실질적인 멘토링’등으로 나타났다. 결론: 3학년 간호학생의 핵심기본간호술기 멘토링 지도 경험과정의 의미체계와 실체 이론을 바탕으로 학생지도를 위한 효과적인 멘토링 프로그램과 핵심기본간호술기 운영을 위한 기초자료로 사용하고자 한다.

영어 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to understand the significance of mentoring guidance experience of core basic nursing skills of 3rd year nursing students. Method: The study explores the essence of mentoring guidance experience of core basic nursing skills of upperclassmen mentors in their 3rd year through Strauss and Corbin’s grounded theory, a qualitative research method. Result: The result of analyzing the significance of mentoring guidance experience of core basic nursing skills of 3rd year nursing students revealed that the major phenomenon was “wanting to be helpful,” and that the causal condition for this phenomenon to occur was “support.” It was also revealed that “boosting confidence” and “a reliable fence” were the contextual condition and the mediating condition that influenced working/interactive strategies, and that “doing one’s part” and “forming relationships” were the process of working/interactive strategies. Further, “psychological burden” was the contextual conditions that influenced the major phenomenon, and “wanting to be helpful” towards junior students and professors was the major phenomenon in the participants. The results were revealed to be “lingering regret,” “self-development,” and “practical mentoring.” Results: This study establishes a substantial theory by describing the process of mentoring guidance experience of core basic nursing skills of 3rd year nursing students. Also, based on this, this study may be used as the baseline data for the management of effective mentoring programs and core basic nursing skills for instructing students.
